There are many celebrities from the movies that we would love see come to the event but its just not possible.  Joaquin Garay III, Paco from Herbie Goes Bananas, has been verily active in attending Herbie events such as the 40th anniversary and Mid America Motorworks VW show in Effingham, IL over the years so of course we had to contact him to see if he would be so kind to make time in his busy schedule to come.  The answer was "Of Course"!

Now celebrities usually will not attend an event unless you go through their agents, pay all types of fees, etc..  Joaquin has agreed to come and be with us for 3 days if we were to simply pay for his travel, hotel, and car expenses.  Other than that, he has agreed to wave all other fees that might be charged by someone else, give free autographs, spend time with us, etc., as necessary.

So here's the deal.  We have to collect enough money to being him to Orlando in enough time for him to make plans/arrangements on his end.  We have set up an official Pool with Paypal to collect donations for this event.  Currently it looks like everyone (each car/individual family) would have to donate around $200 if we are to make this happen.  Some of you will not be able to contribute the full amount however it looks like we are going to have plenty of people coming so hopefully it will all work out in the end.  Just think of it as being your donation to make the event a success and if you need to, spread out your contribution over 9-10 months.
